I agree with much of what's been posted. I also agree with those who think this may rise above Libby.

The case laid out today was necessarily narrow, but I think it picks at the scab of the true crime ...misrepresentation of the facts that lead us into a war that was unprovoked and is generally considered in world opinion to be illegal.

Today was simply the first unraveling of the ruthless campaign waged against dissenters of the war rationale. I was one of them. I said months before the war that winning the war would be easy, but winning the peace would be next to impossible.

When are we ever going to learn that we can never forcibly make others agree with us? I make my living in sales, and believe me, you can’t force a sale …even if you have the leverage … ultimately it comes back to haunt you.
