The Mexican government is corrupt at all levels. If you open up a factory, you will be forced to pay protection money from either the local crooks or the local police- whoever has the upper hand at the time. What entrepreneur would risk anything in that environment. As a result, there are no jobs.

Glock, such corruption usually isn't too well documented, for obvious reasons. But do you have any articles or whatever you can point to, to point out particular instances where this has happened? I could use them. Thanx dude....
