I want to see how many laws we actually have in this Union of ours. Each person must post a law, and they can say that: they either agree with it, or they don't agree with it. Whether you agree with it or not is immaterial, and I just want to see how many laws (either active or proposed) the U.S. has so we can post them on this thread. I don't want to get into a discussion about each one; just list them please. Please only list one per post, and allow others to post after you so we don't re post a law that another poster already mentioned. Also, it doesn't matter whether you think it'll pass or not. This will just show us all the state of mind our government officials are and have been in. If you will number your post, and bold the text, it will aid in seeing them easier.

1)Smoking in your car:

The state of New Jersey now wants to ban smoking in your own car. Assemblyman John McKeon (D-West Orange) introduced legislation which would prohibit smoking while driving.
