Well I´ve heard that its illegal to drive around even with a not-opened beer can in your car.
Well, you've heard wrong. As USViking pointed out, some dry counties (I guess only in Mississippi?) won't allow shipments of alcohol through their county, but I believe that targets commercial vehicles, not citizens.

In other words, in 99.99999% of the US, driving around with unopened alcohol in your car is perfectly fine and often expected on Friday and Saturday nights.

Some places in the US do allow you to drive with opened alcohol in the car, as long as it's out of the reach of the driver.

I'm pretty sure all states allow you to drive around with open alcohol if there is something physically separating the area of the driver and the area with the alcohol. This is how limousine services get by with a full bar.
