This proves nothing, phsychologist may have a field day (phsychology has become more complex than it should be), but its perfectly normal behavior for boys to kill animals indirectly or directly. Heck, by that age I bet some people take their sons hunting (you know, to kill animals). Why don't people just understand that killing is in our nature, whether we like it or not, and that we're animals that eat other animals. You can put your fingers in your ears and go la la la la la, but its the truth. Now, this thread suggest that everyone who kills animals will continue to do so until they long to get a taste for human blood, wrong.
You see, some humans are satisfied with the power to take the life of animals, it sustains them (hunting), and others mature from boyhood to have a greater appreciation of life and death (With the last bunch becoming phychopaths). Oh, by the way, how many boys kill ants or roaches and other bugs? Heck, I killed a bug the other day, snuffed out life without a thought (guess I'm a psycopath, and oh I killed a few germs the other day too). Death is a necessary part of life, until we accept that, we're going to be wasting a lot of time with the irrelevant. I love animals myself, but its not that unsual to love your own species more, or for that matter to hate your species more. ^.^
