Well, the medical examiner has ruled that the boy died of internal bleeding secondary to sickle cell crisis. The autoupsy found no evidence that blunt force trauma caused the bleeding.

A likely scenario is that the boy developed internal bleeding leading to his shrtness of breath. The shortness of breath led to hypoxia, which resulted in irrational behavior, which then led to restraint being used.
