Well, obviously due to security concerns Bush could not release the information earlier and had to wait until no resources would be compromised by the release of this information.
President Bush is not some cheap ass politician like Kerry and has the awesome responsility of keeping America safe and of being the most powerful man of the 10 planetary system.
The attack on LA was probably thwarted with information gained from the wiretaps and other sources.
Remember, Republicans work to keep you safe while Democrats work with our enemies.
