I think I'd vote for John McCain even though I think the Democrats are wiser with the purse strings than Republicans are.

I still think Al Gore could be a great president. He's smart and now that he's an outsider, he just says what's on his mind and his speeches have become more energetic and humourous. He stands up for the environment, and unlike Bush, Gore is more of a man's man in reality, despite what Republicans would like to have you think. Republicans are so sentimental despite their chest beating ways. That's how come they have no plan in Iraq; they just figured Iraqis would be so damned pleased to be invaded by Americans.

I think if Gore ran, he could actually win as a populist candidate without worrying too much about the polls. His frankness about he environment and the economy are welcome to me, and he was a fine VP. Fine in the way that he helped the reduction of gov't waste and reduced the size of the federal gov't in the 90's, despite what the right says. His economic plan had he won the presidency was far less radical than Bush's and the deficits wouldn't have been anywhere close to what they are now. Maybe if Americans can listen with open minds and engage with a progressive candidate instead of just swallowing a load of crap like they're apt to doing a good guy can finally be the president. The kind of guy like Gore who doesn't stand up for corporations but for regular people.
