Personally I just purchased a bogu bag from Kendoshop and it is a nylon material. I prefer nylon or leather bogu bags because they are water proof. There is nothing worse then soggy bogu

However, for shinai bags, even though I would prefer them to be water proof, I like the look of traditional canvas ones. My canvas shinai bag holds about 3 shinai and 2 bokuto.
