I would definately have to agree with everyone's advice. Sometimes, you have to give up some things in life in order to live. All of us here love Kendo to some degree or another, but we are all faced with the decision on choosing Kendo or good grades/food/utilities/children. If you have to, just take a break from Kendo and concentrate on finding that job.
As for the job situation, while the economy seems to be getting more confident, it's still pretty hard to land a job these days. Since you seem young, you may just have to settle for that minimum wage job cause that is probably the only way you will be able to make money at this point. Just apply for whatever job you can get, even if it is outlandish. Since you need the money as soon as possible, it shouldn't matter the job you get at this point. Once things look better, then you can start looking for a more desireable job. For making some extra cash, if you have things that you don't need anymore, you could sell them on ebay or garage sale.
I wish you the best of luck in solving the money problem and I hope that things look better for you.
