pfffttt... whatever. socal is LA/SD/SB. pretty much the whole megapolitan area around LA. still represented by LA, the biggest city.

this is from a guy who came from norcal and originally from the east coast.

Well norcal, i thought was everything above Sac down to Salinas.. Fresno, Bakersfield, etc is CC and LA/SB/SD is Socal. pretty much the stuff past the mountains.

The SCKF (IIRC) was founded mainly by Mori sensei and Norcal was founded mainly by Hazard sensei (though I heard Sakano sensei from the pacific northwest region came down to help form it as well).
