Come on guys, he's getting a little better now. Give him a second chance

Anyways, I started to have heel problem on my right foot. It gets to the point it hurts even I walk. Otherwise, I got bruises at place I didn't get hit. Otherwise, no major problem... so far.
That can mean you are doing fumikomi wrong. Try not to stomp heel first, but with the whole foot. Mine never hurt from fumikomi except once(so far!), when I did fumikomi a year and a half ago and slammed the ball of my foot down first by accident during practice in the gym I was using in the morning. That HURT!! I was sore all week. That was something I never forgot... haven't done THAT, since! (Was too painful for me to want to repeat...)

If you decide to get a heel protector Mugu-san, order a few to try them out. A heel protector can make you fall if you get the wrong one. I had ordered two, and I kept only one. The other was too fat and thick around the heel and nearly made me fall, but the other was slimmer and strong, and I didn't go sliding all over so I kept that one(The one I used at practice in Dec.). Plus, I can't feel the wood floor. It's comfy, but I prefer fumikomi without it even though I have to wear it. So, be careful what you get. The last thing you need, is a fall thanks to a foot protector.
