To anyone that might have practiced there. To anyone who has a teacher that might have practiced there (Jeff Humm-Hizen). I was standing in the ruins of Kenseikai kendo Dojo, Saga, Japan thirty minutes ago looking on the remains of the beautiful floor that was polished and shone with the fumikomi of many many students.

Kenseikai (Sword Saint) or Kamo Dojo was started and run by the late Kamo Sensei and then run by students of Oasa Yuji Sensei one of Japan's last living Judan. Up until last Sunday Sakai Yoshizo was still walking up there every day to teach and practice.

As a result of a neigbourhood fire the dojo is no more. Please pass on the news.
