I could imagine that he can let the bell ring though, just like the glass, why not, it is an object made to get into vibration easily.
For the human body: it has a specific resonance, but it doesn´t break like a glass, if that resonance is matched. This is because it is soft and not rigorous. Some vehicles or machines match the human resonance and can cause diseases in long-term effect.
