I feel a little annoyed when I hear people talking like: "I wish I had found Kendo earlier", "I wasted my life until now, etc. etc..."
This is just silly.
The past is gone, and the present hasn't happened yet.
There is only now.
True, there are some definite benefits for starting anything at an early age, but that alone does not ensure any more of a profound level of mastery, or any more of a deeper understanding.
The important thing is, and what really matters is, you found Kendo!
Into that last sentence, you can also insert anything else which brings you joy, allows for tremendous personal growth, and builds strength and character.
My feeling is, it's never too late, or too early to engage in that which is good in this world.
