Have any of you guys ever recieved (or heard) a ridiculous excuse from someone as to why they had trouble with you, or why they hit you? A while ago (about 2 months) I heard:

"Against other people I'm fine, but you two fight too close for me" from a guy that I've known for a while

and

"You hit me because your timing is wrong" froma 6th dan talking to one of my mates, before either of us were ikkyu. This is one of my favourites!

Some of us here must have heard plenty. So c'mon, dish 'em out!
