The wife and I finished it last night and really enjoyed it. can't say whether an editor chopping 200 pages out of it would make it any better, I suppose it did drag on but I'd rather have those 200 pages knowing there's not going to be any more. Until the encyclopedia that is.

Funnily enough we had a guy reading it before practice. Can't say I'd have done that myself, a kendo book perhaps, but each to their own they are compelling.
