People often go on and on about cultural invasion blah blah blah. But. It is a fact of life. In Australia we play Cricket - English but even then maybe earlier somewhere else. Japan - has a lot of Baseball yet that was "introduced" by the ocupational forces at the end of WW2. While political issues surrounding when these things are introduced are tricky and hotly debated there is no need to take that out on people who want to participate in a sport/art. In the end does it really matter where it came from? If it gives you what you want from it who cares? After all, How many of us here are actually say.... Japanese? Should that make a difference? Japanese people study at Kumdo dojo (Or whatever the term is they use - cant remember and too lazy to scroll back :P) and Korean people study at Kendo dojo, leave the politics alone...
