I normally have a breakfast of multi-grain cereal, maybe some orange juice, some coffee, and if I'm feeling especially hungry, some toast along with breakfast. Nothing greasy, heavy, or full of fat.

As for drinking, I usually drink water on the way to the dojo, since it's an hour's drive for me. Once there, I have a large thermal mug full of a sports drink and ice, which I can sip at during breaks in the action. If nothing else, it keeps the electrolyte level in my system where it needs to be, especially since afterwards, it's "second dojo" and the alcohol tends to leach them back out again.
