If the founding fathers had known about this talk about changing everything they probably would've made a rule that none of rules can be changed. They gave the future generations the benefit of the doubt however and we should live up to their trust.

If they had done that then there would be no freedom of speech(1st), you would still have slavery(13th) and women wouldn't be able to vote(19th)! etc, etc, etc.

In fact if you think about it if the founding fathers were alive today they would be the most right wing people alive. As some of them were slave owners you're probably right!
