As an Australian who grew up during the '80s, Halloween is pretty much a non-event for me. Ditto. I find that those of us who like Hallowe'en have to make it into an event. But now that most of my social group are roleplayers, Hallowe'en kicks arse. Last year one of my workmate's Hallowe'en party was so big it made the news (but she's a horror writer so what do you expect?).
