I'd find that blade too light for camping use. I like just a plain strong knife, no gadgets, for most camping work. I used to use a Russell fixed blade, now I've got a Spyderco folder that works fine.
After having been outdoors with it for some weeks, I agree. But it's still a good knive, and when I bought it I had no idea what I'd need. The can opener proved to be handy, though.
