in australia we get nothing plus we have to pay to go to squad training in different states,and if you are in western australia like me it cost $500-700 to travel to each squad then you got the cost of going to the wkc if you actual get in the team.

That pretty much sums up kendo -- you pay for the privilege of getting your butt kicked, repeatedly.
