Every rule you make will cause a reaction, possibly one hadn't planned for. And each reaction you hadn't planned for causes a new rule which the moderator has to enforce which causes more work...

If lounge posts don't count, people will simply add "me too" posts in the other forums, and throw in some extra dots to satisfy the 10 char limit, or just ask dumb questions.

The real solution is to simply ignore those posts (or posters) that are worthless. Don't flame them, don't tease them, just move along.

Just like in the dojo, you can see someone's skill, without needing to know their rank.
