I honestly had not even considered that. I've been in contact recently with the club of the university that I'm transfering to, and they've said they practice three or four times a week, and are looking to host their own tournament soon.

I could be wrong, then. But I've usually seen it as a serious sport along the lines of crew. If you're interested in it, then go for it in any case. College club sports are a blast.
