I think this "combat effectiveness" "martial" training is very important. Suppose there is a some sort of all out war involving WMD. When the dust settles, the six or seven people left will be fighting with swords again and the fellow who has mastered these arts has a leg up on being the last man standing.

Sport
n.
1.Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.
2.A particular form of this activity.
3.An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively.
Leave it to our man from NYC to dig up the information to explain something ordinary as Sport. You do know that Kendo isn't a sport?
