Take a look at the amazing footage shot by firefighters who found a koala after the fire, it had managed to escape with only a few burns - the little guy held out his paw and let people give it 3 bottles of water. Koalas are generally not friendly!!

I would just like to point out to those who don't already know that Koalas don't actually drink water. They live on the moisture from the leaves in the gum tree. It just goes to show how shaken up this one must have been. In reality you would rarely even see one in the wild let alone get close to it, they are extremely timid. It is truly heart-warming footage to come out of such a dark event.
