What I knew may be obsolete but I heard that LCD is easy to burn and leave a vertical streak, sometime right in the middle of the TV. One of my friend got the problem and it couldn't be fixed. He is not buying LCD anymore. For me, I just stick to plasma

BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZ its the other way around. Plasma used to be way easy to burn. I think they are better now but if you are a gamer of any frequency you will have burn ins of your favorite game or news channel on your screen. I dont think LCD burn beacause they are independently lit thingys, sorry the word ecapes me. Also DLP are excellent. I have a Mitsubishi 57 inch and love it. Blacks are black and colors are good. I know they have a stutte in them with very fast motion, but I have never seen it. DLP all the way.

Also my parent just lept into the 21st century and purchased both a Sony Bravia 42 inch and a Toshiba 37 inch Both very nice sets.
