Ok only a couple:
I can't watch my favorite samurai films without thinking either:
a. That's a nice hakama and gi/kimono set I wonder if they do my size?
b. That wasn't very good technique!
c. I want a house and garden like that one that (usually) Toshiro Mifune is
visiting
. (He is usually sleeping rough or in some other hovel the rest of the film!)
I haven't got enough time to practice as much as I want
I spend most of the rest of the week thinking/reading/posting about JSA
I realise I will never "master" this, only advance a mm or so up the "grading wall" Peter West described.
Fed up of correcting colleagues who call iaido "eye a doh" or "sword fighting".
Saying "yes it's a fishing rod" when neighbours ask if I'm going fishing when putting my sword bag in the boot of the car.
Meeting and continuing to see 1-Cut!! (
A MASSIVE negative
. . in more ways than one!!!
)
Ok only the last one a is
real
negative . . .
