Former Food Network Star, Juan-Carlos Cruz was arrested for attempted murder.

He allegedly plotted to have his wife, Jennifer Campbell, murdered by hiring three homeless men to murder her.

Juan-Carlos Cruz once hosted "Calorie Commando", a cooking show on the Food Network in '03 or '04 that featured healthy low-cal cooking and meals. People, some of them overweight young children, would call, then appear on the show, asking him to make a low-cal version of a dish like Pulled Pork or something like that.

He's being held on $5m bail.
