Duane Reade stays Duane Reade, it is announced by company execs from Walgreens and Duane Reade.

Otherwise, the new logo design is simultaneously done with the store renovations currently going on around the Duane Reade locations around the city, I do feel that the new logo looks more modern and sleek and the new store design looks a lot like Shoppers Mart in Canada, but I do miss the old store design and logo, which is currently slowly going away,
