If you gonna go out in the spotlight and blubber out a testament of regret it would perhaps be a good idea to be honest all the way. His testimony w Bob Costas (who is a light-weight interviewer) was obviously full of other lies and was not a real adminssion.

If he wants to delude himself into thinking that the steroids did not enhanced his performance, fine I guess, even though no one is gonna believe it for a second. Just do go contradicting yourself like a blubbering idiot apologizing to the Maris family. Now he is gonna have to explain what he was apologizing for if the steroids did not enhaced his performace.
