I read here about the Mr James scandal in Japan.

Its a very interesting tale of a McDonald's commercial that features a geeky looking, japanese learning "gaijeen" which reminds me of some of the people I know who say they are visiting Japan.

Is anyone here from Japan? Could you please tell us your perspective on this event because it has been getting a lot of press over there.
