I'm only in my early 20s, so I really don't know the impact that Cronkite had on America, but I do know that he is truely one of the best newsman in the business. During the troubled times of the 60s and 70s, Cronkite was doing something that many of our journalist lack: telling the country like it is.

We live in a day in which so many media outlets spoon-fed us with so many half-truths, falsehoods, misinterpretations, and out right lies. Cronkite was the gold standard many journalist try so hard to achieve.

Truely a sad day.
