Wait a minute... Lord of the Flies wasn't a fictional Hobbesian allegory -- but a true story?!

Is the phrase "Blessings of Liberty" used ironically in our constitution? Is that why it's capitalized?

Oh right, "Blessings of Liberty" is just some racist claptrap about being able to own slaves instead of being one. How silly of me.
