Ninja, if you dont lick your fingers loudly after eating dog in China, yes, you would be insulting.

When I'm in China, as I was recently, and I partake in eating dog, I usually have another dog under the table to rub my greasy fingers on its fur.

It then licks the dog grease off its fur with great enthusiasm.

True story and it beats the hell out of eating Sharks Fin.
