That was one of the most amazing spectacles I have EVER seen. I actually had goose bumps at one point. The stadium itself was a living thing pulsing with light and colors. Brilliant.

One good thing about New York not getting the 2012 games is that we would never have put on a show anywhere near as spectacular.

This city would have done a weak show with dancing Statue of Liberty's or something corny like that.

Sadly, creativity, imagination and the ability to wow are no longer this city's strong points.
