That little problem of spent rods and radioactive waste is not as little as we would like it to be.

Nuclear power is a TEMPORARY solution that must be addressed. We need to get rid of it and find better ways of harvesting solar power (like solar transmission satelites, or lunar solar stations).

Things like wind generators are already being proposed at sea and are only being protested by recreational sailors, squid farmers and enviros that claim they are a bird hazzard.... :roll:

The issue of tidal generators has not even been addressed.

the main problem we have with a lot of this is that we look to what is the best short term solution instead of what is better for all of us in the long term.

As for me? Go on ahead and build all the nuke plants you want. So long as they operate safely, I won't have to worry about the waste in my lifetime!!! :P
