Global warming has made a world where "natural" disasters are now daily occurrences: tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanos, floods, cyclones and hurricanes ... we'll be living with them as constant companions from now on.

The disaster du jour. Unfortunately I think you're right, the frequency and severity of these catastrophic weather systems seem to be increasing. I really believe that over the next 20 years we're going to see crazy changes.
I still can't believe we had a tornado in Brooklyn.
