Sorry, the brain didnt register them as links when I was reading. The Canadian polls are all over the place and a different way of phrasing the question was asked each time with different levels of agree or disagree which hardly constitutes a clear opinion. I can see where I was mistaken regarding Australia, I remember in 1999 hearing that Australia had decided to keep the Queen but didnt realise at the time that was against opinion. Regarding your Welsh links the first is broken and the second I cant find what you were refering too as there were multiple stories there.

I pasted the links from posts I originally left on another website - UrbanToronto. I didn't recheck links, nor did I retain my original post commentary, which highlighted what I wanted to focus upon in those links.
