I admire O'Reilly as a whistleblower; we could certainly use more of those. Executives, politicians, celebrities...they all fall under his scrutiny whether or not they appear on the 'Factor'.

O'Reilly sees himself as a crusader for the middle-class, and has in fact been an instrument of change in society. After 9/11 and the America: A Tribute to Heroes telethon, he put pressure on the Red Cross and made sure money went to victims' families in a timely fashion, whereas most participating celebrities did not.

Though he has his faults, it's refreshing to see an independent, analytical commentator keep a close eye on powerful people.
