Frankly, CB, I would rather be seated a few seats down from a corpse than from somebody who may be contagious with the flu. Especially if the flight is from Hong Kong... you know, the Avian flu!

I started this topic in the hope that it would lead to a discussion about where the airlines should draw the line about a passenger who has sympoms of an ailment. Usually strong opinionated, I have mixed feelings about this issue. Pulling passengers off planes for ailments they may or may not have is opening a legal can of worms; then again, who wants to fly next to someone who is incessantly coughing?
