This slate article is such a bad case of scaremongering, it's disgusting. Po-210 need to be ingested to be lethal, antifreeze or rat poison is so much cheaper, accessible and effective, let's have a mass hysteria about antifreeze availability.
in Victorian Britain arsenic was sometimes called "inheritance powder" such was it's wide availability and wide application for that purpose (inheritance!)
