Well, this is much better.
You are naive if you think Putin doesn't control everything that happens in the Kremlin. He is boss in Kremlin. But he just ONE man from thousands in Kremlin. Yes, he is president, but how can you imagine: one man control WHOLE Kremlin work 24/7 ? It is giant machine of direction of giant country.
Yes, he work hardly, remember many important datasets, keep it in his head, but he is not computer. Just a man. He can control each part of this machine in each moment of time, but not whole Kremlin every moment.
This is reason why he need big team. Eachone of this team is individuality with self point of view: "how", "where" and "why". It is like big corporation. (REALLY BIG!)
f he didn't want to control everything you would still have Kasyanov as prime minister Kasyanov was not good prime-minister.
freer press and OMON wouldn't beat down old ladies This is old method to show "bloody scary regime".
First moment: old woman like a devil attack OMON with brick (in front with many young skin-heads).
Second moment: old woman like a reg doll stand under OMON conter-attack (photo, photo again, young skin-heads go back).
Third moment: old woman, skin-heads and journalist make sure to have a money, operation sucessful.
Fourth moment: lider of movement speaking about "bloody scary regime".
It is older than this world.
you seem to generalize everything I say as trash knowledge? Not whole of that. Your posts was 1/2 of truth. But shown from dark side each aspect. Listen you and see Russia as barbarians counrty, where is bears walking, vodka drinking and Red Army with Kalashnikovs under command of Putin marching through Red Square.
what exactly about the Yeltsin period? Yeltsin give to Russians uncontrolable freedom. Many people stood nothing. Many people dies. It was anarchy. Biggest territory without order of life and information. After order of U.S.S.R. it goes people mad. Why do you think 70% of Russians supports Putin?
By the way Putin is final good accord of Yeltsin symphony.
Rest in peace, Boris.
By the way Putin not going to dictate. Noway. He just making turn to democracy in slow speed. We feel it, living inside. And this supported by economics upgrade. Not only oil and gas. But many, MANY spectors of technology, business, science... all of our life going to normal state!
WHats so complex about racism and hatred? I dont understand what you are saying? Stalin wasn't that bad really? And Nashi is a peacefull pro-democracy movtnt. It is part where I partially agree with you. Stalin was monster. Without Zhukov and Rokosovsky we could failed. But in fact he was general of Red Army, what free Europe. I don't know what reason force Stalin to make any deal with that Devil - Hitler. But that give us almost two years of preparing to Great War. Anyway Stalin was cruel iron dictator. But I sure we will never understand him living in our comfortable countries. He live in period of world wide confrontation. Any case he was greatest figure in WWII events. Knot of many pores.
Nashi... I don't want to talk about that crazy guys. I don't understand them. They is not popular, but after destruction of pioneer movement they just fill void place. Law of life.
Estonia is a REAL democracy in contrast to Russia which is a quasi dictatorship. Estonia has free press and free society, Russia has a censored manipulated press and a corrupt government. Words.. words.. words.. swap here words Estonia and Russia and you will see opposite point of view. 1/2 of truth too.
Russia will never support natists, but they walking through Estonian streets.
Russia give status of civilian to mostly coming people (if all right with documents), Estonia make 1/3 of population illegal.
I can continue... My oppinion have many arguments about fascism in Estonia.
Yes there's a large Russian minority in Estonia but they have no right to burn cars and break windows to get their point across. Really? Everyday? Or only everyday... when crashing memories of our grandfathers... when playing political plays on the bones of fallen soldiers of Red Army... ? Cap of patience was overlimited... Results of mutual misunderstanding.
The kind of propaganda that the Kremlin threw out in this instance is shameful, just as shameful as comparing USA to the third reich. It was
PR
-reaction of Kremlin supported by WHOLE Russia. After Orange 'Revolution' in Ukraine it was first time, when Russian nation stick together. I think Ansip (prime-minister of Estonia - initiator of this damn play) better not coming to Russia next few years. For example some simple PC-users gathered togherer and crack Estonian sites one by one. It was stupid, but it is borning of our civil community. Great victory of Yeltsin/Putin.
