I guess G.W. Bush was lying when he said we had to fight the terrorists in Iraq, so we wouldn't have to fight them here.

All those sweeping powers of the PATRIOT Act and here's another big fat miss by Dubya.

Oh wait, Alberto Gonzalez is under pressure to resign, Paul Wolfowitz is pressured to resign at the World Bank, gas pricing is up, and American deaths are up sharply in Iraq.

Time to roll out the fear machine. TERROR! TERROR! TERROR! FEAR! FEAR! FEAR!

No one's buying it.
