I am sorry to read about his demise. For me it was Slaughterhouse 5.

I saw him recently (within the past year or so) being interviewed by Bill Mahr and was as struck as much by how fragile he looked as I was by how relevant and sharp-minded he was...it was a great figurative juxtaposition..

He had a greal life and made huge contributions in the areas or literature and social causes.
