There is no point to this thread, except to start a meaningless flame war.
A "Christian Statesman," who would argue religious dogma in a state assembly, would be in clear violation of the 1st Amendment.
The intent of the 1st Amendment was not to curtail religious expression, but to prevent the dominant religion from becoming the State Religion.
That is why "Christian Statesmen" whine about the separation of church and state. They wouldn't be so vocal if the US was a Muslim country.
