Ok so I didn't name this thread "Show your Ipod Bling Here" because there are a lot more portable audio units than just Apple Ipods.

But let me admit something to you all. I fetishise my portable audio device. It has taken me through learning for exams, sad and happy moments of my life, losing and gaining pounds, walking the streets of various cities in the world, many international flights, and but for the sound emanating from the connected headphones, otherwise quieter moments in my life.

I have developed an emotional attachment to my portable audio device and I do use it almost every day.

While some units are more "bling" to the ear (and eye) than others, each have their owns strengths and peculiarities. Some people are still content to use cassettes (dont laugh - analogue quality is still king), compact discs; others use MP3 players and flash memory units.

What portable audio device do you use? Post a pic!

We want to see them, worn in or brand spanking new! Tell the WNY members what you have it loaded with, which artists, audiobooks, podcasts, or even recordings that you have made.

I for one wish I could carry my turntable around in my pocket, just for the sound. But alas, that cant happen.
