It's highly unlikely that the Congress will vote themselves out of billions of dollars of free money. As this phenomenon rolls into the next election cycle, we'll see more. Right now, the Republicans have a clear advantage because they have learned to manipulate this new system, but come the presidential election cycle the Democrats will have found their footing as well. We may have a third player in the Tea Party. I predict the 2012 presidential election cycle will see unprecendented funds raised from anonymous groups on all sides.

The era of corporate sponsorship is here. Perhaps the next GOP convention will be dubbed "Bank of America presents the Republican Convention!"
