This case reminds me of the opening scene in BRAZIL, when an arrest warrant for a terrorist is misspelled, and the police burst into the wrong house and arrest the wrong man, because his name was similar. Then they take him back to the ministry where he's tortured to death. Oops.

I find that movie really disturbing - it was made more than a decade before 9/11 happened, but it is almost prophetic about the police state America is turning into.
